Gemini is two people who have not been introduced. Quick, curious, funny on purpose and occasionally by accident, and already in a different conversation by the time you have answered the first one.
Character
A Gemini wants to know everything and keep none of it for long. They collect facts, phrases, people and hobbies with the same bright appetite, and shed them with the same lack of ceremony. This is not shallowness. It is a mind that moves faster than loyalty.
They are the best company in any room and the first to leave it. Ask a Gemini what they think and you will get three opinions, all sincere, all contradictory, all delivered before you have finished asking.
Strengths
Wit, adaptability, and a talent for making strangers feel like old friends in eleven minutes. A Gemini can explain anything to anyone and sell most things to most people, including ideas they adopted this morning.
They see both sides. They see all sides. Sometimes they see sides that are not there.
Weak spots
Depth is effort, and effort is boring. A Gemini will start six books and finish the back covers. They promise with full conviction and forget with full innocence, and the hurt they leave behind is real even if the intent never was.
Nervous energy with nowhere to go turns into gossip. A quiet Gemini is either asleep or plotting.
Love
Talk to a Gemini and you are halfway there. Bore a Gemini and you were never there at all. They fall in love with conversation first and the person second, and they need a partner who can change the subject as fast as they do.
Jealousy confuses them. They were only talking. They are always only talking.
Work and money
Give a Gemini two jobs and they will do both brilliantly and a third one in secret. Give them one job and a quiet office and they will redesign the company's logo out of despair. Writing, selling, teaching, anything with words and an audience.
Money is interesting for a week. Then it is spent on something more interesting.
