Aquarius is from here, technically. Original, principled, friendly to all and close to few, and already living in a future the rest of us will reach in about a decade.
Character
An Aquarius loves humanity and finds individual humans somewhat exhausting. They will fight for a stranger's rights and forget a friend's birthday, and both come from the same place - a mind that works in systems, not scenes.
They are not cold. They are elsewhere. The distance is where the ideas come from, and the ideas are usually worth the distance.
Strengths
Originality that is not performed. Principles that do not bend for popularity or profit. An Aquarius sees the pattern nobody else sees and the solution nobody else dares, and they will say it out loud in the meeting.
They are the friend who stays loyal to who you were before you were successful.
Weak spots
Detachment that becomes a wall. Contrarianism for sport. An Aquarius can be so committed to being different that they become predictable, and so devoted to logic that they miss the feeling in the room entirely.
Emotional conversations are approached like engineering problems, which works less often than they hope.
Love
Aquarius falls in love with a mind first and needs a lot of air. They want a partner who is also a friend, an equal and a separate person with the door open. Possessiveness is a deal-breaker. So is boredom.
They show love by paying attention to how you think. Read it correctly - that is intimacy, in their language.
Work and money
Science, technology, activism, anything that improves the system rather than serving it. An Aquarius working for a cause is unstoppable. An Aquarius working for a boss they do not respect is a slow-motion resignation.
Money is a tool, mildly interesting, slightly suspect. They would rather be right than rich and sometimes manage both by accident.
