Character
Aries starts things. That is the whole job description, and Aries does it magnificently - the idea, the leap, the first email at six in the morning. What happens after the start is somebody else's department, and Aries is genuinely surprised every time it turns out to be theirs.
There is no malice in an Aries. There is also no filter, no patience and no memory of last time. The anger arrives like weather and leaves like weather, and the Aries is baffled that you are still standing in the puddle an hour later.
Strengths
Courage that does not need an audience. Loyalty that does not need a reason. An Aries will fight for you before they have heard the whole story, and the story usually turns out to be on your side anyway.
They are the people you want in a crisis and the people who sometimes cause one on a slow Tuesday to feel alive.
Weak spots
Finishing. Waiting. Listening to the second half of anything. An Aries hears the first clause, agrees or disagrees, and is already answering. They mistake speed for progress and volume for conviction, and they are wounded, briefly, when the world asks them to slow down.
Boredom is the real enemy. An unoccupied Aries will start a fight with a vending machine.
Love
Aries loves the way it does everything: immediately, loudly, and with a sincere belief that this time is different. It often is. The chase is the romance, and the Aries who has caught you needs to be given something else to chase - a project, a trip, a locked door. Boredom in love looks like absence, and absence looks like betrayal.
Say what you mean. Aries does, and expects the same, and reads diplomacy as deceit.
Work and money
Give an Aries a deadline and a clear enemy and watch the building shake. Give them a committee and a process document and watch them resign by lunchtime. They lead well in the first act, badly in the third, and should hire a Virgo to count the receipts.
Money comes fast and goes faster. The Aries wallet is a door, not a box.
Gets along with
Leo and Sagittarius understand the speed. Gemini keeps up and talks back. Libra, the opposite sign, is the one Aries secretly needs - someone who asks what the other person thinks - and the one Aries most often exhausts.
