Aries and Aries

Two people who start everything and finish nothing, racing each other to the door.

match 3/5

Together

Two Aries in one room is a starting pistol with no race attached. Both want to go first, both are already going, and for a few glorious weeks it feels like finally meeting someone who keeps up. Nobody waits for the end of a sentence because nobody has to. The plans are made at midnight and booked by one.

The trouble is the second week of anything. Two starters means nobody stays to finish, and the kitchen fills with half-built shelves and a sourdough culture that died in March. Somebody has to become the one who sees things through, and neither volunteered.

Love

Hot, fast and honest to the point of bruising. Fights flare and die within the hour, and both are confused when the other one is still upset. The good news is that neither holds a grudge for long. The bad news is that neither remembers why the last fight started, so it starts again.

Friendship

Excellent, as long as there is a common enemy. Two Aries friends will sign up for the marathon together, argue about the pace by mile three and finish laughing, separately, twenty minutes apart.

Work

Two founders and no operations team. Ideas arrive faster than anyone can write them down. Give each one a separate territory and a shared deadline, or they will spend the quarter competing for the same corner office.

Where it breaks

Two drivers and one steering wheel. Neither yields at the intersection, and pride turns a disagreement about directions into a question of who owns the car.

The frog's verdict

Three stars, burning hot. This pairing works when both agree, out loud, which of them finishes what. Pick one shared thing this month and let the other person be the one who closes it.
