Together
Adjacent signs, and both love a thing done well. Virgo wants it correct, Libra wants it lovely, and in a good room these overlap - the table set properly, the guests seated with care, the napkins folded the same way. Mercury and Venus get along beautifully at dinner parties.
The friction is about honesty. Virgo tells the truth as a form of help. Libra offers the pleasant version as a form of kindness. Each privately files the other under a small moral failure.

Libra courts gracefully and Virgo is privately dazzled, though it takes months to admit it. Virgo offers the steady usefulness Libra never quite learned - the bills paid, the bulb replaced.
