Wheel of Fortune
Upright
turning · luck · cycles · what comes around
The Wheel of Fortune turns in the sky with creatures rising and falling on it, and figures in the corners who only watch. The card means change that is larger than you: luck, timing, the cycle that brings up what was down. Upright, it speaks of a turn for the better, of forces moving in your favor, and of the wisdom to ride a change rather than fight it. What goes around is coming around.

What is changing that you have been calling bad luck?
Reversed
resistance · a bad turn · the same mistake again
Reversed, the Wheel still turns, but the turn is downward or you are gripping the rim. Bad timing, a run of setbacks, or a pattern that keeps returning because the lesson in it has not been learned. It can also be the exhausting effort of holding everything still. The card asks what you are resisting that would pass if you let it.
She nailed the wheel in place and wondered why the road stopped.
Which cycle are you repeating by refusing to let it finish?
