The World
Upright
completion · wholeness · the circle closed · arrival
The World is a dancer in a wreath, holding two wands, with the four creatures of the corners looking on. It is the last card: completion, integration, the circle closed, the road that began with the Fool arriving where it was going. Upright, it speaks of fulfillment, of a cycle ended well, of wholeness, and of travel in both senses. Something is done. Let it be done.

What have you finished that you have not yet let yourself call finished?
Reversed
incompletion · the last step · the loop unfinished
Reversed, the World is one line short. Incompletion, a project stalled at the final step, a goal reached that somehow does not feel like arrival. It can mean shortcuts that left a gap, or the fear of finishing because finishing means beginning again. The card asks what remains, and whether it is really as large as it looks.
The painting needed one line. He kept it in the drawer for a decade.
What is one step from done, and why are you not taking it?
